TERMS + HOUSE RULES

WHO MAY USE THE ROOM

You must be at least 18 and legally able to agree to these terms. You are responsible for activity tied to your browser and for keeping access to it secure. Rewind Room may refuse, limit, suspend, or end access to protect visitors, enforce these rules, comply with law, or keep the service working.

REWIND ROOM CONTENT + LICENSE

To the extent protected, the site's original code, interface, writing, branding, and original artwork are owned by or licensed to Rewind Room. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the service for lawful, noncommercial entertainment. Do not scrape, copy, sell, reverse engineer, bypass controls, interfere with security, overload the service, or use Rewind Room-owned content to train a model without permission except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.

YOUR CONTENT

You keep ownership of material you submit. You represent that you have every permission needed to submit it and that it does not violate privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, contract, or other rights. Do not submit unlawful, hateful, abusive, threatening, deceptive, sexually explicit, malicious, private, or sensitive material; another person's image without permission; or a child's image.

You grant Rewind Room a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, cache, reproduce, format, display, and distribute the submission only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and moderate the feature in which it appears. The license ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup cycles, legal holds, and copies others made before deletion. Public submissions are visible to anyone.

MODERATION + REMOVAL

We may review, refuse, edit for formatting, hide, or remove content and may preserve evidence or cooperate with lawful requests. We are not required to monitor every submission and do not endorse user content. You can remove your own corkboard post while the Room Pass cookie remains available; deleting the pass also deletes its corkboard posts. Use the private request form for other removal needs.

COPYRIGHT + RIGHTS REPORTS

If you believe material infringes a right, use the private request form and select “COPYRIGHT REPORT.” Identify the protected work, the exact material and URL, your contact information, why you believe the use is unauthorized, and confirmation that the report is accurate and you are authorized to act. A person whose content is removed may use the same private form to explain why removal was mistaken. We may remove reported material and may terminate repeat infringers.

THIRD-PARTY MEDIA + SERVICES

The room may link to, stream, or embed third-party media, games, radio, or sites. Their owners' terms, ads, privacy practices, technical restrictions, and availability apply separately. A reference or link is not an endorsement or a claim of ownership. We do not control third-party services and may remove an integration at any time.

NO WARRANTIES

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, security, or uninterrupted operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow all exclusions, so they apply only to the extent lawful.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rewind Room and its operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or business interruption arising from the service. Their aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid Rewind Room for the service in the preceding 12 months. These limits do not apply where prohibited or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

INDEMNITY

Where permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Rewind Room and its operators against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful content, your material breach of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights. This does not require indemnity for Rewind Room's own unlawful conduct.

DISPUTES + GENERAL TERMS

Applicable law governs without taking away nonwaivable consumer rights. A dispute must be brought in a court that has lawful jurisdiction over the parties and claim. These terms do not impose arbitration or a class-action waiver.

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without consent; Rewind Room may assign them with the service, subject to applicable law. These terms and the Privacy Note are the complete terms for the covered features.

CHANGES + CONTACT

We may update these terms as the room changes. The date above shows the current version. Material changes will receive reasonable notice and apply prospectively when required; they do not retroactively expand a content license or consent. Stop using a covered feature if you do not accept an update.
